Your final course in the Project Management Certificate walks participants through the seven steps of the Agile process and shows how to lead in an Agile environment that encourages accountability, teamwork and organization.

This course builds upon the two previous courses (Foundations of Modern Project Management and Leading Projects through Execution) and gives you valuable skills related to the exciting world of agile project management. In this course, you will examine the seven steps of the agile process, how the agile process encourages accountability, teamwork, and organization from team members, and how to be a project manager in an agile environment.

The class will consist of live online lectures in addition to applying practical applications of knowledge learned.

Learning Objectives

Upon successful completion of this course, learners will be able to:

  • Explain the core values and principles of Agile.
  • Compare Agile methodologies with traditional project management approaches.
  • Identify and describe key Agile frameworks.
  • Define the roles and responsibilities of Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and Agile team members.
  • Apply Agile planning techniques such as backlog creation, user story development, and sprint planning.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
