Overview

The Data Science Bootcamp is a comprehensive 9-month program designed to transform beginners into job-ready data scientists through a structured foundations-to-core curriculum approach. Students begin with foundational skills in Python programming and statistics before advancing to the 400+ hour core curriculum, which thoroughly teaches the six steps of the Data Science Method: problem identification, data wrangling, exploratory data analysis, pre-processing and training data development, modeling, and documentation. Throughout the program, students complete 30 total projects (including 28 mini-projects and 2 guided capstone projects) and can choose one of three specialization tracks (Generalist, Business Insider, or Advanced Machine Learning) to develop expertise in a specific area.
A key strength of the bootcamp is its personalized support system, which includes 1-on-1 mentorship from industry professionals who provide regular feedback, answer questions, and offer insider perspectives to keep students accountable. Additionally, the program offers optional career coaching that guides students through developing their job search strategy, crafting standout resumes and LinkedIn profiles, networking effectively, preparing for technical and non-technical interviews, and negotiating salaries. Students dedicate approximately 15-20 hours per week to the program and graduate with a certificate of completion, portfolios featuring two capstone projects, and the practical skills necessary to launch a career in data science.
