Overview

A team of software engineers working in an agile team room

The Software Engineering Bootcamp is a comprehensive 9-month program designed to transform students into job-ready web developers through mastery of the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React, and Node.js). This robust curriculum takes students through both foundations and core components, covering everything from HTML, CSS, and JavaScript fundamentals to advanced full-stack development concepts. Throughout the program, students will build seven projects including five portfolio-worthy pieces and a capstone project, gaining practical experience in both front-end and back-end development while also learning to leverage AI tools like ChatGPT to code more efficiently.

What truly sets this bootcamp apart is its personalized approach to student success through dedicated 1:1 mentor support and optional career coaching. Each student is matched with an industry professional who provides regular feedback, answers questions, and offers insider perspectives to keep them accountable throughout their learning journey. The career coaching component guides students through developing effective job search strategies, crafting standout resumes and LinkedIn profiles, networking, preparing for technical interviews, and mastering salary negotiations. Upon completion, graduates receive a certificate and emerge with the complete programming skill set necessary to succeed in web development roles.
